HISTORY |
Networking and learning from each other is core to our organization. Out first meeting was in Durham, NC in 2008, where we had 30 attendees. We continued to have in-person meetings around the country from year to year until in 2020, when we were forced to go virtual. This shift allowed us to greatly improve our global inclusivity, pushing our membership up over 800. In 2021, we officially became a 501(3)(6) non-profit membership society. We look forward to continuing to spread our reach, our diversity and support of women in the field of Surgery.
